Majority of pledged delegates is 1627, (discounting Fl and MI)

Well using Slate Delegate Calculator I give HRC an 80:20 blowout in Kentucky and West Virginia AND I give HRC a 20 point 60:10 win in Oregon, and Obama's total in delegates that night is 1629.

So on truly worst case scenario he has majority of delegates just, but that assumes he has zero delegates in Puerto Rico, South Dakota and Montana as he gets less than 15% viability in EVERY district and she gets 86:14 blowouts both statewide and in every District.

Wed Mar 05, 2008 at 11:12:43 AM PDT

Labour in the UK have been disapointing to progressive supporters on many aspects, IRAQ being the obvious one but they have taken the issue of anti-poverty seriously and made moves in that direction.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/...

The annual increase in the Minimum Wage was announced today as an increase to £5.73 from October 1.

In your language that is $11.46 an hour.

well done Brandon Friedmen, the response in the UK is well done Harry Windsor for going, well done the media for being responsible and not increasing the risk to that specific unit, and real anger at either Drudge or unfortunatly for those who do not know the background anger at the US in general.

President Obama in 2016

Wed Feb 27, 2008 at 02:12:37 PM PDT

From the reports coming through it is beginning to look like the change in the US in 2008 may be of the order of the change in the UK in 1997,
After 18 wasted years of Tory Government the Country turned a corner the feeling in the Air in May 1997 was simply amazing, I will probably never see the like again in my life time, though one of those at the party that night had been active at the time of the Labour landslide of 1945.

After 10 years cynicism has risen and Blair et al made lots of mistakes IRAQ!!, but we have recently produced a list of the 50 things that have made them proud over the 10 years see below the fold.

Just imagine 2016 after 8 years of Obama in the WH and a Democratic Congress.....
